Hello guys! Welcome to my blog,
I am Aseel, the founder of aseelbysketchbook, an interior design studio that I am establishing from my home.
I have recently quit my job and decided to pursue interior design (as I know it) full time, I have graduated 4 years ago only, but my experience goes beyond the traditional, as I have started with a fit out company, transitioning to a teaching assistant, which made me really happy, but I felt something is missing because I wasn’t designing. And during that very same time, I was also working as a project manager for my friend’s company. I have also hustled through different aspects of design. Until I got a job in IKEA as an interior designer. Which was a blessing, because it wasn’t only experience that I got out of IKEA, I also got to meet a group of my closest friends at the moment.
But 2 and a half years down the line with IKEA was more than enough for me. And I knew that what I wanted to start next is a mesh of all that I love about interior design.

Right now, I still adjusting to handling everything at once. It’s a lot of juggling to do at times, but it is also the craziest, most wonderful adventure I have ever taken.
So on this blog, I will be sharing with you my discoveries, short cuts, and tips about design, and life in general.
